My third iteration of the Labyrinth Box. It addresses all issues mentioned on the first two iterations.
It has a similar maze as the second iteration, but more refined. The size is half of V2 with much nicer toleranzes and three pegs for smoother turning and sliding.
(I'm very pleased :P)
It still uses magnets for a very satisfying closing mechanism:
Hope you like it!
Das Filament PLA / PETG
Only for Bottom / Top. You can create a "Support Blocker" in Cura to change the Infill setting for the walls, so they are printed with no infill.
PLA Multicolor Galaxy, PLA Multicolor Polarlicht, PETG Sturmgrau, PETG Metallic Blau
I used 3 or 4 parameters and no infill for the walls. The bottom/top os printed with 10% infill. In Cura you can create a "Support Blocker" and set it to "modify settings for overlap with other models". This allows you to remove the infill in the walls or add it at the bottom/top.
Print the "Bot" file first. This allows you to adjust the "Horizontal Expansion" setting in Cura for the "Top" file. Print only the first 15mm with the pegs of the "Top" file. with that you solve the maze and check if it moves freely, but is tight enough that you can not cheat. Adjust the "Horizontal Expansion" setting accordingly for the final print of the whole "Top" file.
