did you change any of these parts?
i was under the impression the normal parts worked with 16mm wood fine

Yes, there are some changes:

  • The z top is now designed to fit a bearing to fix the threaded rod. Thanks to cadesigns.
  • The y-axis-bracket is slimer to better-fix the bottom rods to the box

  • Parts are one-per-file so that you can print the number you want
  • The extruder idler is not here (pending to fix the nut hole, it's too small)

you could also fork it on github so your modifications could be adopted in the original design ...

The fact is that I edit directly over the .stl file, not the openscad. Anyway I'm thinking about releasing this kind of things directly on a CVS instead os using thingiverse.
