The OpenSK Key Enclosure was designed to print easily on a variety of printers without the need for supports. A living hinge button is part of the lid and prints in one piece. There are two holes for the LEDs on the nRF52840 dongle. The case and the lid can print flat on the build plate. On an FDM printer, we would recommend using a raft. We have printed this enclosure on several MakerBot Replicator 2 printers, as well as the Form 2 resin printer.
Crush Ribs and Inserting the nRF52840 Dongle:
Crush ribs were added to the back of the case to hold the Nordic nRF52840 dongle firmly in place, even with the size differences that occur between various 3D printers. See the video below for tips on inserting the Nordic dongle and crushing the ribs to hold it in place.
