Prusajr, I am unable to generate Gcode from the X-end idler. Is it possible that the provided STL file is corrupt? I shall continue my attempts, considering not doing it in RepG.

I got it to work using RepG 0027 and Skeinforge 44. (Using the SF31 Cupcake-ABS-HPB profile.)

What is the benefit of the updated x-end-idler/motor designs? They look like they use a lot more plastic than the older version. Also, what are the diameters of the x/y-carriage bushing holes?

It appears as if they no longer require PLA bushings. They simply slide onto the smooth rod. I like it, albeit print time is more.

I think the new work on printed linear bearings might be a nice replacement for the pla bushings.
