Hey just wanted to say that I'm actually using this carriage.
I had a PEEK J-Head but I'm trying to switch to an e3dv6. Hopefully I'll get around to making a fan duct for one of the 40mm fans so I don't have to use the 30mm fan... :)

I made one of these and it's excellent except if I mount a fan it reaches lower then the hotend. I'm using it with a j-head on a mendelmax 1.5

You're right, if I have time I would make a new version that supports the new J-Head 36.5mm, I designed for the 50mm release.

What are the center distances for the bearings? I have an SAE Prusa I2. What size fan will this accept?

the center distances for the bearings is 50mm and it accept 40mm fan.
