I didn't like how the extruder cable bunch was leaning to one side, and constantly rubbing on the edge of the acrylic top cover, so I decided to draw this simple clip to tie it to the filament tubes to keep it from flapping around.

I made one with default settings in S3d. I slowed it down for the first bit, and it ran perfect.

I printed this for my QIDI Tech 3D Printer which is a clone of the FlashForge Creator. One small difference between the two is the black cable bundle for the QIDI is much narrower than the Flashforge so the top part of this clip doesn't really hold on tightly. The filament guide tubes fit fine in the arms. I am trying to remix this in Tinkercad but have no experience doing so. Can anyone lend me a hand?

Great little piece. I printed one with my new roll of shinning silver PLA/PHA. Turn out to be really nice.

I printed a few of these using PLA (my filament of choice) and they're perfect.

One of the things I did change on my FlashForge Creator Pro was the filament guide tubing. I switched it out with 1/4" water supply line (like you would use on your ice maker).

This part works great!

I've re-upped a remix fixed for those of us using ReplicatorG. I simply downloaded the file and uploaded into TinkerCAD and then published to Thingiverse from there. Credits to http://www.thingiverse.com/Paul4x4Design

Nice little clamp, works great!

Anyone else having problems opening up the .stl file using ReplicatorG? Nothing shows when I try...

Remix up fixed for ReplicatorG, how I fixed was to download, then upload into TinkerCAD and then publish back to Thingiverse.

Center and place on platform

I am having the same problem - not sure why.... Any luck for you?

Nope. I ended up importing this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:728240 to SketchUp and modified it to only include the clip. I didn't get a chance to print it yet (that will be my first print) so, if it works, I will update the file.

Flashforge Creator X/Pro extruder filament tube bracket with press-in tube holding clip
by Brotron

as said before ...super useful, super easy to print. thanks a lot !
keep up the good work.
this was my first 3d print on flash forge creator pro.
never used a 3d printer before.
the result is perfect.

Easy print and super useful. So much so, I printed 3. Probably overkill....

It was a super easy print!

Thanks for this Paul! It worked great with my Micro Center PowerSpec 3D PRO (MakerBot Replicator X2/Flashforge Creator Pro clone)!

This is going to come in handy, thanks for the design! I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good length for the guide tube? I replaced the tubing that came stock as it was bent and deformed and I'm not exactly sure as to how long it should be. Thanks!

Well done! FlashForge should include this (and the tube holder) as their extruder tests as it's an actual useful part that EVERYONE should have on their FF Pro. I printed 2 and have on behind and in front of the acrylic hood. Keeps everything in the right spot!

Thanks a lot! Please, post a pic of your setup. I've also been thinking about adding a second clip.

I was just going to draw something up for this - thanks! They work great!
