I printed this and turned it into a lamp made it about 120 to 150 its size came out awesome !

i printed one and it is coming out with holes in it i am new to cura anyone have any idea what might be the problem when i print anything else with infill it prints fine

hola me gustaría saber que tipo de filamento es el que cambia de color con cambios de temperatura estaría interesado en coprarlo para poder hacer unas cosas

Printed first file with Makerbot Replicator with 0 infill and vase was not hollow - still had honey comb structure.

Congrats, your model made it on my top 3D Printed Valentines Day Gifts! See here for the article: http://3dprintingninja.blogspot.com/2015/02/top-5-free-3d-printed-gifts-for.html

how i can make it change colour?

You will need colour changing filament, which changes with heat, see video above.

Thank you too, feel free to upload the photos.

Printed this large and it's the coolest thing to come off my Rep2 yet. Thank you!

I made one, but it leaks!

I bet some strategic placement of ABS Juice (if ABS printed) or something similar would resolve that matter.

Thanks gyrobot,
vase works perfekt and looks great with rostock3d, abs and Kisslicer...

Nice! I made one scaled 70%, printed on ReprapPro Huxley

Thank you! Quite a beautiful model; it made my wife very happy. About 1.5hrs on a replicator 2, PLA, fine, 23g. Does not hold water. I am considering creating a derivation with thicker walls to do so. Making another one for myself in white to be a fabulous writing utensil holder.

Hi, you should be able to make the walls as thick as you want using the solid stl file, use no infill and as many perimeter shells as you care to lay down. Check out the love and kisses vase (thing 42951) to make your wife even happier ;-)

Glad you and your wife liked it.

Turned out quite well. It was printing as a solid, so I set the infill to 0% and 3 shells for a thick wall. Also, stop it before it does the top unless you want to seal the vase up since the stl file is a complete solid.

Cheers for the print picture, looking great, I have expanded the print instructions to suit your comments.

Why is everything in your pictures looking so perfect?

How can the prints be so smooth, also the tape on the platform is in perfect shape. How is this even possible? I hate you !
These platform photos must be photoshopped.

It's quite obvious that this is a picture of his print bed, with a 3D model fully rendered with shadows, etc on top. He probably didn't even need to use photoshop.

Spot on thantik, modelled and rendered in CAD with a photo of my Orca printbed in the background. I am waiting for some red PLA before I print this vase hence on this occasion I have no photo of it yet. Check out my other designs for "actual" print quality.
