I printed this as an example of a 3 d item. I chose this design because in my gifted and talented fourth and fifth grade classes we are studying the human heart. I will be allowing the students to print one for themselves. It was fun watching them identify the parts of the heart.

What kind of settings are needed to print this with ABS?

Do you know what the scale should be to make it life size?

Hi! Lovely model! The .thing version works perfectly however when I printed the STL I run into quite a few problem. It is not as sturdy as the .thing there are also random holes where the joints have been... I was just wandering if the .thing and STL files are the same?

With which software did you drew this so perfectly ?

No, i have not even tried to print it because it won't slice the walls. They are to thin.
If you can tell more about your settings perhaps.
Extrusion width, flowrate, nozzle size , your print size etc??

Will not print in s3d even with 0.3 nozzle and 0.1 layer. walls of arteries is too thin even after needed fix in netfabb.
So how you printed it is a mystery to me.

Actually I printed it with Ninjafles filament with a very slow speed. Are you printing with PLA?
