To prevent overheating of the electronics, I made this high feet for the Ultimaker 2.


Print 2x normal orientation and 2x mirror. Use some infill and loops to make it strong enough.

I see only one leg?! It doe fit only for 2 corners..but where is the mirror for the other corner??

Every slicing software has a mirror option, just use it for the 2 other corners. Have fun!

Have you had problems with overheating?

Hi Peter, I'm not sure. But the electronics board showed tracks from much heat, the stepper motor connectors turned yellow/brown. Also the filament feeding can be improved using the high feet.

OK. Perhaps I should give it a try as well.
