It's a very known STOL airplane designed by Chris Heintz. A lot of CH 701 are flying across the world.
This plane is fully printable.
The scale is 1/24.
If you want to improve the model you can download the STEP files and modify them.
The pictures show a model made in ABS with a Ø 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.4mm thickness.
For the small parts its highly recommended to set a maximum 0.2mm thickness.
All the skirts needed for a non warping are already designed.
You may need to set a little skirt for the wheels and the nose gear to be sure they stay stuck on the heated bed.
I've set the filling at 10% of honeycomb.
If the propeller blades fold during the print you should reduce the feed rate and blow a little nearby the nozzle.
All the parts need to be glued.
Before you glue the fuselage you must glue a minimum 150 grammes load in the nose (brass, lead...). It will simulate the weight of the engine.
If you don't do that the plane will remain sat on its tail !...
