0% infill is what I am shooting for with bill
I had a test print and the top had some holes
infill is probably necessary unless you prefer to do post print fill-in

i am just printing one a modified version of this which i really fixed up on self Cad so i just saved you a lot of work including fixing the whole
& i also fixed the holes you were mentioning i made my version totally clean print now

i modified it as a novelty 43 caliber pellet for my "elastic powered pellet slinger" which you can download on youmagine or pinshape, if you want i can message you the blueprints on fb messenger

i will be sure to give you a full citation, because it still is your idea,& since legally speaking i dont have to ask for permission as long as i follow the license,
I decided to put up this model on pinshape but since it is your model feel free to use it for what you want

https://pinshape.com/items/37352-3d-printed-fixed-cerberus333s-bullet-bill-4-elastic-powered-pelletslinger

Which i fully complied with the license

But i put it on pinshape as a result of what happened to loubie & her sad face notice model even though i was more than a year & a half ago

but if i did decide to at least give you a tip as compensation & to pay the licensing so if you get a tip from me that's why
If you agree to comnerical use otherwise

i will only use it non commerically i swear till i get permission

below is original of this comment

the only thing i would need permission for is commercial use but if i did that i would at least give you a tip as compensation & to pay the licensing so if you get a tip from me that's why

Sure, go for it!
Good luck with your elastic powered pellet slinger!

It worked
Edited the comment & included a link for it,becuase i would rather be open about using other proples models because its one way how im honest

No worries from me. If you want to use it commercially fine, If you make a mint throw me a bone!
hey I took a look on pinshape. if you want I can make a more exaggerated version, as the features get
lost on a small scale version.

It would like a more exaggerated version if thats ok

As i tried the aircannon shell you designed but consitering the pellets needs to be at a minimum 8.5 mm diameter or up to a max 50 cal diameter

But i need enough detail that it can still show at those sizes also the pellets

Also it need to be long enough so the pellets dont flip when drawing the elastic with the thumb or when shooting the pellets so i dont have to titlt the pellet while the elastic drawn with the pellet at the pellet slit

Sure that would be nice, but it needs to still not have too much outside the diameter, detailing is fine
But if it sticks much more outside the diameter thats where it become non functional for projectile use

I also had to turn the pellet so it can actually fire off from the elastic prongs, & the slit where the pellet is slung from

Its totally fine the only problem with moding my pellet slinger is the front slit & its perch cant be too long outwards from the prongs otherwise then it can dangle arrows. & would then result in what is legally consistered deemed pistol crossbow under canadian law

but as long as its not deemed a crossbow & if congruous in terms of legal & socioethical wise yes
but im even fine with people shooting spiders for pest control if
its done responsibly

but yeah if your doing that its best to use easy cork which is unlikely to break on plaster or brick wall if its printed properly & cuz its only 30% cork it fires as you would in plastic

I posted a new version. I hope it fits the needs.
I have not printed it but I think it has the details that hopefully will pop on the small scale

so what i did is i did the magic fix from self cad , (correction ) then i scaled it to x 10.08 mm x10.08 x 16.& it worked out great after that & thank you so much i will be sure to mention it in the description of my blueprints & any files i upload to any from any of my accounts will i will garrentee to fully give you credit for the novelty pellet which by the way it has been updated on pin shape all used under license

also if you got a twitter account i would like to give you a shout out on twitter i right now i have 880 followers on twitter & i would like to mention your account in the tweet if that's okay with you

no worries on twitter.
I have an account but i really never use it.
frankly I don't remember it.
Hope the newer model worked out ok for you
I did scale it big but i suspect you can scale it in your slicer without difficulty.

i just printed at 10.37 mm x 10.37 mm x 17.69 mm & it worked out a lot better on detail, though it can see the lip however i cannot print the bill's teeth in detail

new version with more exaggerated teeth

when I get a moment I will look at the model and see what else can be done

thanks, that would be great also applogies for replying so late in like a couple weeks i was busy with a real estate move

I thought I already had done the other stuff.
What else needs adjustment?

it also needs more detail on the pupils of the eyes, mouth,&teeth more & the lower teeth needs to stand out a lot more & a outline would be nice ,
the eyes could be deeper
but the detail is the #1 thing other than the ability to easily slide through the pellet ridges
this is because you designed it at 58.24 mm x 62.6 mm x 100.17 mm i found it best at 10.37 mm x 10.37 mm x 17.69 mm size
that's another reason why detail is key for my use

& i will let you know if i find anything else that needs to be fixed but also keep an eye on the bullet bill in case they're is something that i did not notice

Yeah it actually did work out very well but i did have to scale it, fires very well

The hands,&face of the bullet bill is acecptable consitering the size of the layers,&the vs the detail is only a fraction of a mm but I'm not too sure about the mouth of the bullet bill well enough otherwise it was perfect

but certainly significantly better than using the original file or the shell you designed for the air cannon

Becuase with my application details certainly count a lot more than usual

Honestly even the zits on the print are relavant to the amount of detail of the bullet bill
So precison really matters a lot more than as you would with a larger shell

Also i dont really have the design training needed to actually design the bullet bill pellets so your actually doing me a huge favor so thanks a million

I just was never professionally trainned at 3DPrinting or the CAD

Though im pretty much self taught

i do read a lot about 3DPrinting its impact, benefits, studies, etc& more i personally own a lulzbot mini its my only 3DPrinter & i am even advocate for 3DPrinting

But sometimes especially when i was at the learning curve i did also to do my own research to fix the problems

self taught here.
i recomend tinkercad as a good simple starter
google it and try it out.

i just tested the bullet bill 3 at 10.03 mm x 10.03 mm x 16 mm & it worked out great & i decided to use the bullet bill 3 as the new blueprint fort the pin shape post which is used under license

also appoligies for the long time for reponse i personally had to do a lot of work like fixing my house & then friday i have a orentation for college ,so my life could very well be different in September,

i loved the bullet bill & i will still keep the blueprints up in case other people want to still use it & certainly update them on it
i would still use for certain things like cosplays & use with kids & special needs & all

but i designed a more aerodymanic design called "the semi minnie pellet " or just minnie pellet for short its a modifed version of the minnie ball which was orignally used by both sides during the american civil war but how it works is diffrent mine has a special artificial airfoil design and the minnie ball was about making a cork like feature out of lead like piston the minnie ball was the 1st musket ammo thats designed for enhanced millitary tacticalablity & was deadlier on the battle field than musket balls , though the model bulllet was not invented until the mid-late 1890's when smokeless propellant was invented

& to comply with the terms of use of google i also deciced to re purpose it for edcuational, scientific, artistic & documetrical as a primary purpose like stem &

but there still is the secondary purposes like pest control

i also tried using the pellet slinger as a cavity to make a mold with brown sugar & pouring on melted chocolate & freezing them i now its very clever & it worked it reminds me of laser sinsitering but there is a youtube video that i wanted to credit which when i find i will give a citation which is a example of a artistic use

ok i just updated my pinshape post about this is the last update until further notice on this exact case but the blueprints will still remain available but will be status qou

Printed it out on my makerbot 0% infill with 2 outer walls. The top point caved in a bit but I would guess even a small amount of infill would help. Also printed at 40% size. Looks great though!

He's a Bill that means business.
