A real-life replica of the "deal with it" dog meme from the ancient lands of Something Awful's forums (http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/deal-with-it). Created for HallowMeme 2012 in NYC. Wear these and become a meme!

NEW! For anyone that doesn't want to fuss with laser cutters, you can now buy these made-to-order on my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/209769159/deal-with-it-glasses?ref=pr_shop

This design was made for laser cutting in CorelDraw, which only runs on Windows because Corel hates freedom and baby animals. Formatted for cutting/etching using NYC Resistor's Epilog laser cutter. Blue lines are set to cut, and any fill is set to etch. More info on NYCR's laser wiki: http://wiki.nycresistor.com/wiki/Laser_Power
Acrylic used can be aquired at eStreePlastics: http://www.estreetplastics.com/Black_Plexiglass_Acrylic_Sheet_p/b013751212.htm. Recommended dimensions are a 12"x6"x3/8" sheet of black or transparent black plexiglass.
The longer ends of the two temple arms (sides) fit into the holes in the visor (front), but may require some acrylic weld if the laser melts off too much from the hole edges or if the acrylic is too thin.

can you make one where both sides are even?

Why is one side cut off? You realize theyre supposed to be even right?

Also, this is MakerBot Thingiverse, not "laser cuttingverse"... Please include STLs or OBJs with them. If you wanna do laser cutting, go to Myminifactory.com or Yeggi, Or basically anywhere BUT here.... Nobody uses laser cutters here..... If you dont know how to print, you shouldnt be on a printer community. lol

Thingiverse was originally designed as a place to share designs laser-cut parts, and preceded the launch of MakerBot by several months. The original Cupcake CNC dxfs are still around here someplace.

Thingiverse's tagline: "Thingiverse is a universe of things. Download our files and build them with your lasercutter, 3D printer, or CNC."

Things tagged with 'lasercut' (1427 Things) http://www.thingiverse.com/tag:lasercut
(and those are the ones folks bothered to tag).

File types supported: stl, obj, thing, scad, amf, dae, 3ds, x3d, blend, ply, dxf, ai, svg, cdr, ps, eps, epsi, sch, brd

Also, there are so many friendlier ways to simply ask for an STL.
