Designed this S3 stand as I wanted a stand that can hold the S3 vertically while it's charging. It can be used to hold it horizontally as well.


Print with 0.2mm layers.
The top of the holes collapsed but Rep2 managed to continue to print successfully.
The based warped slightly, but I can live with it :)

Added a V3 file which includes a thru hole for the USB cable.

My wife made a suggestion: it would be nice to have the groove going below the support, to the back, so the cable can be totally hidden...

Thanks for the suggestion fma, I initially did not want to do that as it might be stressing the cable. Added a V3 file with a hole for the USB cable.

Does it need to be attached to the table (I can see screw holes), or can it be used 'floating'? Could you post source files? I would like to adapt it for my wife's S3 mini..

Hi fma, the "Holes" are for reducing materials used, you do not need to mount it to the table. I used Alibre to design the stand. Which file format do you need? If you let me know the required width, I can add another version for you.

Thanks! I have to find the dimensions of the S3 mini; I'll post them as soon as I get them.

S3 mini dimensions are pretty close to S3 for the thickness. For the width, I made it wider as I'm using a case with cutouts for the volume rocker switch, if the width is smaller, the buttons will be touching the stand surface. could you try using the v3 stl to print first? Let me know which dimensions that need to be changed. Thanks.
