Be careful making sure all tiny plastic imperfections don't end up in your herbage dude! (Not to mention that most of us don't use a food safe method of extrusion.)

You are right.

It is highly recommended to use a plier to clean up the plastic leftovers and it's good to grind first of all some grass or some weeds (to throw away) so you get rid of the leftovers if there is still some.

I'm working with PLA and it's food safe.. but anyways, we don't wanna eat plastic for sure.!

use Metal Grinding teeth
all weeds that can be processed by these plastic teeth are grindable by hand...
take a Steelwire of desired strengh 1-2mm cut it and Press the pieces in the plastic lid while hot. (use a gastorch to heat the metal until it will go into the plastic like butter)

well, how does it work?

Work's great! a teeth or two will break immediately but thats it it will grind your thing easy =)
