was this printed in ABS or PLA

Hello, is there somewhere I could find the code for the arduino? Also, do you know of any way of making it remote controlled? Possibly something with bluetooth.

Looks like a fairly old project but a good one to do with my kids so started printing up. Have spare Arduino and steppers.

Just looking at the control. Having bluetooth or something to phone would be cool. Not sure if you have found a easy way? Im not much of a programmer. I see there are plenty of android apps. Not sure if any are generic enough to tap into ?

how do the pins not slide out of the tracks?

Can you tell me the name of the stepper motors that you used please ?
Is there a way to use the robot with other kind of motors and a battery? I have an arduino but I don't think I could buy the stepper drivers. I just want a robot that goes straight ahead and stops after 3 meters.

This is designed for NEMA-17 Stepper Motors these are cheaply available at Adafruit, My design documents are supplied you could change the mount setup to whatever motors you had but if you want it to stop at very specific distances you will need a stepper motor and possible an encoder.

Did you print the base with supports?

The Base Is printed with supports (i meant to change this using little blocks in the front for supports that you would just remove when finished)

What did you use for the pins on the treads?

The pins are just cut pieces of 1.75 filament 20mm long

This thing is incredible!

Thank you Adamfusion for releasing it into the creative commons.

This is a project worth promoting. This is a project worth downloading, printing and tinkering with.
