Im going to try to remix this and take the pegs off and add some screws to it im trying to make something to hold my vinyl rolls

For remixing, what software do you use? When I remix some simple thing, I use Tinkercad..

Why not a 3d printed rod? :)

I suppose you could but you would have to have a printer that could print a rod 11-12" tall or wide. Or, print it in smaller pieces and glue it together.....or, just break down and buy a dowel rod for $1.00?

The design is very elegant, but is it possible for you to post a STEP or 123dx file for others to edit? Our typical roles of paper towels are too large a diameter to fit between the pegboard and the dowel. The holders need to be about 1" farther out from the pegboard to work for these paper towel roles. Thank you!

you ever get this figured out? my current holder has the same problem.

Thank you for your kind comments but they were developed in Cubify Invent which does not have the capability to save as a STEP or 123dx. I'll try to find a program that can convert them. Do you know of any?

What length do you cut the conduit/dowel to?

Well, a typical paper towel roll is about 11 inches in length. I would cut the rod the length of the roll (11 inches) + 1 inch. that would leave 1/2 inch overhang for each bracket.
