There is an error in the upright file. Simplify3D will print two seperated parts until you heal it with [Mesh] > [Separate Connected Surfaces].

I'm not having the same problem. the file loads OK in Slic3r. I cant replicate your problem I don't use Simplify3D.

You can check your file with the free netfabb program. You get a multiple parts notice and there you can see, that there is a problem between the body and the head of the stand. It looks like you used intersection instead of union to connect both parts.

You are right. when i checked back on my 123design file i must of saved 2 objects together as 1 STL file. I have now loaded a new combined file. Thank you for pointing this out.

it is a small forgotten material on scope_holder.stl thing, she does not touch the tray. Here is a screen print of the returned object.

thanks i will change it and repost

new stl called scope holder2.stl added

Looks nice, I am making one at the moment. It would be helpful if you included an additional picture of the top showing the knob_spindle and adjusting_knob.

Thanks schlem. Please post a picture when you make one.

Very cool and useful. I will use for my Celestron.
