Just noticed my make is bugged. Will re-upload when done painting.

I'm still uncertain if it's a Halloween or Christmas movie, but still a nice print!

The director confirmed it is a halloween movie, so now if you want to trick or treat as santa, your in the clear!

I have glow in the dark PLA, I gotta figure out how to color it tan without blocking out the glow now! lol

awesome. I'll be printing this guy out in wood to get that burlap bag effect. Maybe swap to a color approaching the head?

edit: forgot that he's all burlap. wood it is :)

One of the designs of late where vapor polishing
would be counter productive.
This model and the sorting hat both
benifit from the layers giving a cloth - like appearance.

I've always thought Oogie's eye's looked like a large nose.
You nailed it! (I mean that in a good way :-) )

I tried to model based on screen shots from the movie.
Of course I had to modify it to make the features visable
(the threads are way big to make them show in the print)
But I tried to keep faithful to the "spirit" (bad pun intended) of the original.

Perfect, a good looking bug bag

He is a cool monster to model.
creepy without resorting to gore.

Love it looks great!

Thanks for bringing up oogie (in the comments on the sorting hat), needed a good halloween
monster to model.

I can't wait till I get my printer .. (eventually) to print this out and Freddie Flute you did for me sometime ago .. (my KS funded printer is still yet to be released to the public)

hope it comes soon!
