jolley roger guitar pick fairly sharp,
generally rock style pick but hay its art play, jam, create, entertain, enjoy.

New stl file added "skull pick 13" improved back, its a slightly thicker pick.

Click download ALL,,,,
else if you try to download the idervidual pick it shows a page of lots of numbers which i'm not sure why,,,,once you've downloaded all you can extract all and bingo,,,,theres the pick.

be sure to click "rotate, lay flat" to get it flat on build plate.
Then click "move, place on build plate",,,,,,to be sure its on there.
Was ment to be aprox .88 mm pick but it was a while ago i made this.
I've printed and used it and it works well for me,,just the right thickness and angle on point i like.
The skull shape is just orsome "great" to hold with thumb while playing.
Rock on, rock out, ROCK IT UP.
remix file if you want, make sell, throw to the crowd,
play fast, play slow, play a balard during the show,
play a song, play a score, play till the crowd screams for more,
And just when enough, play off the cuff,
Play A feeling, play of healing, let the sound rise above,
Play for all, play till dawn, play play play for one love.

Thank you,
Bye for now and be well from Will and Mr Data :) :]

Okay but I am not converting anything. Tried printing both the old and the new file stl that are posted. Both have the same normal issue in Cura and won't print correctly. Has nothing to do with setting print above build plate.

OK i've made some more suggestions below,
heres another,
i've uploaded the gcode which you are free to download now.
i think that goes into ,, into replicator G ,,,,,,or does it go direct into printer.
Try direct to printer and see if that works.
Sadly i don't have the sketchup skp file of pick.
I hope one of these suggestions works, let me know. Good luck.
Bye for now and be well :) :]

I have a possible suggestion, try this link,,,,i've never tried it but my friend up the road said it works for him with faulty models with holes in and apparently it auto fixes the holes. So good luck. I wish you luck.

If that does not work perhaps someone with for example mesh mixer may have an auto fix system you can try.
Else i can look for a Sketchup file for you, i'll look for that now, hang on.

I'm not sure how your system works, but converting file is how everyone else does it as far as i know.
Draw a picture in for example sketchup skp file, convert to stl for upload to thingiverse, people convert that file to s3g for there printer. That is the most common thing that happens.

I'd love to help you but i just don't know your system and can't advise you, really sorry, file works for my system and everyone else that i can find. As mentioned there is only one file to download now.
Oh i have an idea i'll be back in a minute, hang on.

Error in file. When you combined the bones to the skull, the normals were reversed on the bones. The file will not print correctly, there are missing layers wherever intersection of bones and skull exist. Layers above will not have support needed and pick comes out with gaps.

Couldn't fix in netfabb or maya. Tried both files posted.

Check you've printed the right file, i just removed all the old files leaving only the latest version.
Should print fine.
I've printed this perhaps a hundred times.
not that its necessary on this print but ,,,,
Just as a printing hint, or something to try on some prints, place a print file .01mm above the build plate, before converting file to s3g, it can stop the print file poping during conversion from stl to s3g.

None would slice. I tried repairing them in netfabb. No go, cool design though.

Just to check in on this print, i've removed all files but the latest file as people kept using old versions of the file, only the bottom latest version was any good.
So now there is only that one latest version to choose from, hope that helps.
Of course i want you to get the opportunity to use this pick as it is a good pick.
bye for now and be well from Will :) :]

Very sorry to hear its giving you trouble,
Try the one at the bottom of the list as its the newest. "skull pick 13 stl "

One of them is G code which is for SD card which goes directly into my Replicator, i think.
Let me know if Skull Pick 13 at bottm of list does not slice and print and i'll look into it,,,,but it should be fine.
Thanks bye for now and be well from Will and Mr Data :) :]
