can we surf with real waves at the beach
thank you in advance

How long did you take to print the entire surfboard, do you have water intres, if so, how to remove it, is it solid?
thank you in advance

Anyway you can supply the FULL sized plans on here or your site or Youmagine.com? The 9 split up parts? Would give me a heck of a quicker start. I am building a huuuuge Airwolf/Ultimaker like printer, but starting off with the 9 piece STL would be a great starting part. Thanks so much. I will post pics and vids. Thanks!

Matejs Board...stl is the full size STL that I printed. You can slice and dice that how you want with NetFabb basic, it's free and pretty easy to use. You'll want to repair your slices with NetFabb, too.

this is really cool dude :}

Hi! I'm trying to print a smaller version of your awesome board, but it seems that i'm stuck somewhere since it only prints the outer perimeter of the board... What am I doing wrong? Thank you!!!

Uploaded my original 3 part mini-board files which will slice properly. The full board STL will slice and print fine at it's full scale. Please post picture if you get this printed, thanks!

I noticed that Slic3r had a problem under .3 scale which is what I used for the mini version. I don't know if there is a slicer that will let you force a certain number of perimeters. Setting Slic3r to a minimum of 3 perimeters doesn't actually force 3 perimeters if the size would be larger than the stl slice.

Awesome work, hang loose :)

Super cool. Must have taken a while to print that. Now just to build a printer that can do it in one go.

Yeah, I spent a couple months printing, assembling, and glassing it. I also spent a few months building the printer big enough to do this in fewer pieces. Each part took 10-12 hours with 16 parts needed and I had to redo 4-5 because of some miscellaneous problems.
