It won't open in the customizer. It give the following error message. :(

"/usr/local/bin/openscad/openscad: error while loading shared libraries: libCGAL.so.10:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

I tried other customizable objects and get the same error. It seems to be trouble on Thingiverse side. You can either download the .SCAD file and modify it on your own computer, or wait until the trouble with Customizer is resolved.

In the right_half_license_plate_trim module, there are 2 translates moving the parts up 1:
translate([-125,-30,1])difference()
and:
translate([-125,-30,1])union()

Changing the z offset to 0 puts it level with the left side, and you don't have the support problem.

Is there any reason why the second half of the print is floating in air? I have to use supports to print this and it seems like it would print better if it was all flat.

EDIT: I was able to use the split function in slic3r and it split the two parts and snapped the second one to the buildplate.

I wonder how/why it did that to begin with though.?

This is the first I've heard of it. I'll check it out.

Hi, if you didn't see my edit I was able to solve it in Slic3r.

You can see on my customized plate the second half is floating slightly above the buildplate.

I'm looking at the .scad file and I can't figure out how to change the font. I'm not sure what font I want, just messing around with it.

It's been a while since I've used OpenScad. I believe it only comes with one or two fonts. You will have to design each letter of the font you want and incorporate it into the file yourself.

That's what it looked like to me. I was hoping I was missing something. Thanks for responding so quickly, and thanks for a cool design.

Please do a motorcycle frame? :) This is awesome, but looks weird when I scale it down and put my motorcycle plates on it!

Hi What kind of of a progran did you use to make this ?
