Something to draw in my lunch breaks.
Designed to be printed on UP! Plus in ABS.
Support is essential.

Part 2 is now uploaded. Please note that you need both parts to obtain the full content of this pack.

Simple versions are being dropped, unless essential. (Too much work for something I have no use for. Time better spent drawing more new tanks...)

Pack 3

Drawn in Solidworks 2012 & 2013
Designed to be printed on UP! Plus in ABS.
Support is essential.
Settings used: 0.15mm layers, vent open, loose fill, 4 layer surface, supports 3mm^2 x 80 degrees. (You can use 0mm^2 to advantage on delicate items, but be warned never to use this setting on vehicles with crew members modeled.)
If you print these for use with Flames of War, scale to 187% (or 200%). Opinions differ, so find a scale that matches your current vehicles.

How do i open the files after unzip?

Has anyone tried upscaling these models to 28mm (1/56) scale? Does it work?

Of course it works, but I don't recommend it. These models were never designed to be scaled up so much.
I'd suggest using models from the 1:100 range instead, since they have far more detail.

Hi,which printer you recommend you?

Awesome, Ive printed a Maus turret from this collection and it looks awesome!

Only thing that annoyed me was the over sized Shaft under the Turret for rotation, Preferably, I would like to remove that and replace it with a hole and a 3th piece that replaces this shaft. That also would save filament on printing the extra high support which is now necessary because of it.

Thanks for drawing . I have been trying to make simple things in Fusion. Scaled them up for 1/144 use and they have turned out great.

where did you buy the OD green ABS filament? also the Tan

It's paint.
That's why I went to yellow filament, to save having to paint all the models before they could be photographed. In white, they're just white bland blobs in 1:200.

What Pack are Sherman, E100, and Lee/Grant

In what pack are the boats?

Great job. Any plans on doing some of the early war tanks like the Panzer I and II and Matilda I?
Thanks :).

Hi, Awesome models, I love printing them so far,
is the M26 pershing anywhere to be found in the folders? I couldnt find it.
If not so, could you possibly make it? I and I'm sure a lot of people would love to print that tank.

Great models. One problem I cannot seem to find the challenger tanks, am I just blind? :)

Try looking in the Cromwell folder. Both Challenger and Comet are in there.

thx, could not see for looking..

Awesome models, thanks for sharing!

I cant find a halftrack I thought i saw in these sets b4. its German Halftrack Sdkfz 6/1 Zugkraftwagen. like modeled long ago in plastic with a skeleton crew. also some of the Daimler trucks listed are not in the folder like the MK-2 etc

OK for all you guys that know details on these fine models, can we get a paint color check list spreadsheet of each? as for as what base colors they used like which ones used Army Olive, olive green, kelly green, desert tan, white (snow), black etc. so i can use filament to match as base. this is like the all time group of world war vehicles. very cool!

Hey just wondering, how did you do the supports?

One thing that would be awesome would be to do all the artillery and a/t guns in a pack for all WW2 countires. These are the massively overpriced items from the main manufacturers (yes BF I'm talking about you!).

I have considered it - there's the 25pdr in pack 1 for example. I can tell you now there won't be a separate artillery pack, but I'll see about slipping some stuff in. Please bear in mind that I draw these in lunch breaks, and am very much impulse driven concerning subject. If it feels like work it won't happen... currently my fancy lies in the Lorraine tractor/Marder I family, and since I find myself collecting Karl-Geraet references, I suspect he'll be next. But yeah, I'll bear artillery in mind.

These packs are by far the coolest items on here. Great work. Now that the land war is pretty taken care of. It would be awesome for some ships maybe planes in the same scale.

keeps coming up with 9 lines of error codes im using a replicator 2 and g coding with skienforge any advice please as i love these vehicles

Great job, I adore. I printed a LCVP in 1/54em to play Bolt-Action and the depiction is great.

Thank you

I see an A30 Challenger there, are you planning on making a TOG II at some point?

Eventually, but don't hold your breath... it is very low priority to me since it was just a single prototype. And ugly.

would love to see pics of anyones D-day Diorama using these models

if you do more sets, can you include a couple corps of engineers construction items like the old cable lift blade Cat Bulldozer etc (non hydrolic) also some spare truck and jeep wheels and maybe some added accessory items like oil drums, Tank Traps etc. thanks!

where do you find the 3 military colors of ABS?

Use white (best general purpose base colour for painting, IMO). Paint them with Citadel acrylics for the photos, because white doesn't show details in photos.

printed the open Jeep and cycle-haftrack in N scale. very nice detail at the tiniest I have ever printed an item that well. now for some more prints

Another excellent job! I need to take a week off work just to print and paint some of these.

very nice addition to great models. now to fire up the printer again

For people who need STL files for their 3d printers use something like CAD Exchanger to convert to STL files.

My bad missed the other zip file with the stl files in it

already have zip of stl files also included. the other is for mods or use other than stl

Awesome thanks for this again

Unbelieveable collection, Thanks for sharing.
