Yet another adjustable pillow block for the Thomson Super 8 linear ball bushing. This one has extended flanges that allow it to be screwed down from the bearing side of the mounting plate. Mounting holes are 4mm diameter and spaced at 40mm x 25mm centers.
You will need a 6-32 screw and washer to adjust bearing preload (aka "fitment") and 4 x 6-32 screws and washers to mount the block.


I printed with coex3d MG-94 ABS, 0.2mm layers, 30% fill, no brim, no support

Would this work to compress an Igus bushing to reduce its play on the rod as well?

I can't say for sure, but not likely. It would be a pretty wild coincidence if the Igus bushing and the Thomson bearing were the exact same size.
