Hello there,

I'm new to Thingiverse and just started using Openscad, I started out doing a Customizable Gear as my first project and this will be my second project.

This is supposed to be a scale model of an old 5 cylindrical, radial engine. It's basically me trying to reproduce a complete Inventor model in Openscad, just for fun. I'm a sucker for anything opensource and wanted to see what could be done. There are of course plenty of detail lost, but I still find it pretty amazing what the program can do.

Anyhow, leave a comment and let me know what you think =)

there is a small error in the code. Line 290 has 'i' starting at 0, which leads to an invalid 'ln(0)' in line 294

That is pretty awesome! I thought you cheated and imported geometry, but I see it's all openscad code and is really fast! It would be great if you used the new multi stl feature of customizer to make a build plate with all the parts in printable pieces.

Thanks, for the kind words. Not everyday you get a comment from a mod =) Is this a recently added feature? Could you please provide a link too some kind of tutorial/document? I see how it could be very useful to be able too print all the separate pieces.

Here's some info in the Customizer docs on multiple stl output that might help: http://customizer.makerbot.com/docs#multihttp://customizer.makerbot.com...

Thanks, will give it a look.

Nice!! <-two thumbs up

Is the SCAD code generated?

Hey, thanks mate!

Nah, just me writing code for days and days =)
