but the printer setting is a bit tricky for the overhangs.

that is the best question yet

Hi! What printer did you use? my printer need supports to do this triangle, and the results are horrible!!! I want to buy another, do you recommerd yours?

Hi! VPassamai,

Thank you for your comments.

Material can be well better of the PLA. Temperature is around 210 ℃.
I hope if there is also a cooling fan as long as hard to cool the temperature of the room is hot .

I like the 3D printer that is suitable also in the overhang .
Better not to use the support can be beautiful .

I like the old model of Replicator2x.

Now , I see that there is a download of the problem . Please wait for a while because the upload again .

I've uploaded again.

My head hurts looking at it!

Awesome model, great job making it we did a time-lapse of it you can watch it here. https://youtu.be/JgSauqC7MQk

that thing messes with my brain! it took me so long to figure out how you made it do that! XD

Loooove this triangle! I've printed so many of the first model. Any reason for the extra overhang in the second? It seems more difficult to hold in order to achieve the same illusion.

I made one but can't figure out which way to view it to make the pen rose triangle

i made a 40% size version just to test first came out good recommend supports for the overhangs some colours work better than others aswell the green i used didn't really work to well but il definatly make another bigger one with a better colour

Does this require supports? Thanks in advance

it doesn't require supports!

No, not on my printer at least.

I'm having a hard time getting this to print smoothly on any of the overhangs. Pretty sure it's messing with the illusion too. Cool though.

Seeing as it is a famous 'impossible shape'...
I would think so.

Yes. It is an illusion

how did you come up with this? I think I may need to make one

Well done Tomonori! Probably the best optical illusion in all of Thingiverse!

Sorry, but I printed this and I can't for the life of me figure out how to position it. Can you provide any assistance?

Hold it so the pointy thing is pointing at you, then turn the pointy edge to the left and slightly down to align it with the left and bottom sides. Done! (but it only looks right in one specific angle)

to matteeee

Thank you for assistance.
