Also measured and printed without reading the comments... 3 mm too small and broke when tried to attach it to the desk.

Read borgchick's comment first. Make it a couple of mms bigger than what you measured other wise it will be too small. I printed this for the measured size and the bottom part snapped when I tried to put it on my desk.

The output seems to be about 3mm too small. For example, if your desk thickness is 20mm, you need to set it to 23mm in Customizer. Otherwise the output will be far too small (~17mm).

As long as you adjust for that, the design itself works great!

To accommodate thicker cables, I printed my x-axis at 120%, making the cable catcher part wider, and thus able to accept thicker cables.

Are you planning to add an option for the hole size? The hole is really too big for most USB cables. It's okay for the chunky 4-5mm cables but no good for the 2-3mm which is very common.

This is one of my fave cable holders but it just needs a tweak.

Compliments will get your everywhere gadgetaddict. I'll see if I can put something together in the next few days...

I had an odd issue with this. I changed the thickness to 34mm (and 3 cables), but the print came out at 30.5mm. I did a calibration print of some squares with known sizes, and they printed perfectly, so I believe the problem was not with the printer. Anyhow, I bumped the thickness to 37.5 and it printed perfectly (for my 34mm table). Any ideas where the discrepancy came from?
I did customization in OpenSCAD for Mac.

what print settings did you use

I had this printed for me at Makerbot HQ. Didn't personally set the printer settings but if I had to guess I'd say Makerware standard settings (0.2mm, 10% infill) in PLA.
