Summary

Here is my replicate-able key/wrench that I use to build my RepRap Prusa Mendel at the moment. It takes standard hex bits and has also got a M8 nut wrench in the center. It can take pretty much load, that depends on how well your print went.
Mine is printed on the UP! 3d printer.

Instructions

Print and enjoy!

For UP! users, to remove the support structure, remove the vertical support first and then just snap the horizontal support downwards with a pair of pliers and it usually comes out easily in one piece.

Awesome !

Do you have a source file (scad ?) by any chance ?
I need to modify it for another nut size

Hey, sorry I didnt make it in scad. For what nut size do you need it?

My M8 nuts are 14mm size whereas I think the standard ones are 13mm

Printed one up today and mounted a square, Phillips and flat bit. Only issue I had was plastic drooping on the top flat, had to open it up with a dremel and some acetone. If this happens to you, use a dremel to do the bulk of the removal then put some acetone in the opening and force a bit in and out.

Would you mind if I began printing these and selling them?

just go ahead :) sorry it took a while to get back, was out of town.

Every day work more better.

Great!

I'll print this as a free giveaway when people ask me to print a mendel set 8-)

Nice! what printer is it printed on?

I will definitely print one of these. Just in time for some Prusa assemblage.

Scale it a bit, put an eye on the top and you've got a wearable contest entry!
