how do you secure your pneumatic fitting? i cuently have a difrent moddel laying around. have you got some mesurments to compaire?

i want to make shure my fitting fits the printed hole, and i have some clearence for a nut.

The bowden tubing is 3mm OD PTFE tube, secured at each end with a Camozzi Pneumatic fitting.

The body was modelled in Solidworks, I can upload that if it's any help. Or convert it to another format, just let me know.

Do you know exactly which Camozzi fitting that is and where I could get a handfull? I am trying to upgrade from the brass fittings which screw into a PTFE tube on my RepRapPro Huxley, fitting it is a right faf and the tube keeps popping off. Thanks! Where do you get your PTFE tube also? Sorry for newbie questions.

Hello,

We changed from the Camozzi fittings to custom brass ones for the simple reason that the new fittings have a much better grip on the tube. Changing back to the pneumatic fittings will not solve your problem, and will likely make it worse.
Your issue is more likely related to a (partial) blockage i
nside the melt chamber. For help on this see here http://reprap.org/wiki/RepRapPro_Huxley_troubleshooting#Machine_stops_extrudinghttp://reprap.org/wiki/RepRapP...

Could you upload your scad file for the body? I am trying to make a greg's acessible bowden.

What tubing are you using for you bowden and how are you coupling it?

Is it possible to get a description of the toothed insert, and some pictures of the inside of the build please, i cant seem to work out how the filament is gripped onto the part.

thanks
