Best cauliflower lamp I've found yet!

Looks great! Bu what is the best position to print with less the supports?

The best results I got when I printed it in the position as it is on the picture. With upside down position (less support) it doesn't look that nice.

Ok Thanks, gonna try this one of these days ;)

Or slice the lamp in 2 and glue them together? Support marks are then on the inside of the lamp.
Even a bit of aceton will work to glue PLA.

Nice modeI. I love the idea!

This lamp absolutely, positively, needs a big red button for turning it on.

The most evil thing in the history of the world.

Thanks for info. I've wrote to cgtrader about it.

me too
They remove the models when reporting but I hope they will close their account

Any idea what the weight of this thing would be when printed with SLA?

I try to print it, but cant get the support propperly on Symplify3D. ANY IDEAS? Repetier Host with Slic3r not even finish slicing.

Does this LED light fit in the model design from Protonik?

No, the LED lamp has a outer diameter of 8" (~20cm).

The bulb in my lamp has a diameter from 14mm and a high from 49mm.....

Take RGB Strip and help your self :)

That is a GREAT question! I am not sure the answer because I have not printed the Nuke Lamp yet. I have added it to my list of items to print, so I will post a video soon of this print, and I will see if the LED light fits in it! Even if it does not fit INSIDE the print, I am sure you can just place the LED light below the print and it will most likely give a similar effect of lighting up the Nuke Lamp.

Any idea what the weight of this thing would be when printed with ABS?

I tried to print this on my Lulzbot mini. Didn't work so well as I ended up with a real mess and on top of that, it broke my extrusion fan as well. Too bad, as this lamp looks really cool.
Tried to insert a photo of the "rats nest" I was left with but doing so seemed way to complicated. If you know how to insert a photo simply, please share. If any one had success printing this lamp, I'd appreciate hearing about it so I can try again when the replacement parts arrive. Unfortunately, the fan is out of stock so I had to order an entire tool head assembly. This was an expensive "misprint".
Cheers, Pat
