Universal printer mount for the said webcam. Derived from Torsten's Webcam holder for Ultimaker. Holder slot dimensions: 0.25" x 1.75"

Print the holder, clamp, thumbscrew, and as many beams as you want. I used 6-32 x 1" screws to hold everything together.

BTW, the said webcam supports the MJPEG codec, so you can use it with mjpeg-streamer on the Raspberry Pi.

And sorry about the pics- I uploaded them sized and oriented correctly, but Thingiverse decided to rotate and crop them however it wanted with no option for me to adjust/fix it.

I printed this on my SD3 and the threads on the thumbscrew didnt print. I sliced it with the slic3r built into the repetier host software from solidoodle. Also, the threaded bracket the thumbscrew screws into didnt come out right either. Instead of a screw hole, I wound up with a U instead...

something obviously didnt slice properly. The preview showed the parts correctly though...

IMHO Slic3r has been nothing but cuss words and wasted plastic for me, even with SD's official config file. I mainly use Kisslicer.

Anyway, I tested it in Repetier and can confirm the issues you mentioned. It turns out the clamp's STL has a faulty face on top. I will upload a repaired version when I get the chance, but for now you can use Netfab (http://cloud.netfabb.com/)http://cloud.netfabb.com/) to get it going. As for the thumbscrew, I'm not sure why the threads aren't printing except for my rant about Slic3r. Did SD release a config for Skeinforge for the SD3? If so, try that or give Kisslicer a try (and note- if you do try Kiss, run it with Pronterface; Repetier will give you trouble).

Wow, are the lasers in the bottom scanning and zapping every piece of crap that falls in? :D Thans for the tip about mjpeg!

And btw here are 2 more web cams that support MJPEG:

Logitech C310
Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 (although no way I know of to turn off low light correction)

If you or anyone else knows of more, comment.

Yes, that would be an Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grill.
