Likely my fault but I can't print this as a single piece. I tried to cut it up in tinkercad but the file came out wonky (I'm a total noob). Any way you can make the roof a separate piece?

This model is awesome btw. The part I did print out looks great

I discovered this model during the 3DPrint Expo in Lyon, October 4 & 5, 2016.
Guys from Volumic were using it as a demo print on their machines.

Beautiful model !

I looked for a video of the event and saw my model on the table! They made it quite large. Thanks for sharing!

You are welcome !

I am printing it right now ;)

Printed this yesterday. Was nervous about doing a structure like this without supports, but was pleasantly surprised to find it printed great with no additional work needed! Great model, and it's going to look great on my wargaming table in both my graveyard setting and my garden setting. Could also do something like a ruined temple with it!

Great model. For others printing: At 10% it printed well, with the only exception of the flat tops around the sides. Had I changed my printer settings it would have filled them in a bit more.

When I go to print this in Simplify3D, in the preview there are a lot of weird artifacts and missing sections of the print... Has anyone else encountered this?

in simplify 3d it dosent work

Hi there. I tend to model with objects that sit over top of other objects. This only works depending on your slicer (I use Cura and it works fine). If you'd like to fix it then I suggest bringing the mesh into Meshmixer, which you can get for free, then use the "make Solid" function. It brings the polygon count up a lot, but it should work.
