Hi Denny, I like the motor mount! Please could You advise the type of the motor and prop You used? Are You using it with 3s pack?

Hi
Sorry just noticed your message.
I'm not sure about motor size, but it came from Hobby King " Tough trainer"
And yes I use it with 3S pack and GoPro on board.

No need to get upset. I thought you'd want to know your part does not print out correctly, at least with Makerware doing the slicing. If there was a way to post an image I would, assuming you'd be interested in helping me trouble shoot this. Perhaps I'm the only one that has tried to make one? Yes, like you said, I can make my own.

First of all I did it for myself. It work for me. I share with other because I think it will be useful to someone.I dont sell it dont make any profit on it. Your first complain out 95 others who download file. If you cant slice it look for problem on your side. Everything are simple: Dont work for you skip it.

Tried printing it again and the same thing happened. It seems the area that arcs from the motor mount to the cylinder is only a very thin wall. In your blue model image that area looks strange with the black, perhaps this indicates a problem with the model you posted?

That are you talking about ???
This mount installed on my plane for more then year no problems.
I have 3dm file but im not sharing that. If you not like something do not complain, draw your own.

Thanks for the model! I assume you printed with supports? I tried printing this and the motor mount connection to the cylinder was too weak and it broke off before I had it mounted. It looks like my printer didn't print as much material as it should have. Not sure what went wrong. I'll try printing again. Looking at it i wonder why not more fillets and supports between the motor mount and the cylinder? I know, I should design my own. How has it held up for you? Thanks again!
