any idea on how i need to scale the STL's for a HO Scale to match my other space prints? HO scale is 1/87

Do you have a rough guide on assembly?

Moriza - thanks for the model! I built one and it turned out pretty good (unfortunately I can't seem to get the picture to upload). I had to scale a few of the solar panels to get them to fit but that was no big deal. I've got it on display at work and folks are fascinated. Thanks again.

Hi Moriza, This is a brilliant model, I am very much enjoying printing it out.
Do you have the updated versions of the Opportunity_Solarmain & Opportunity_Solarback stl's that you show in the large rover pictured above?

The current stl's for these files don't match the solar panel plate models. The solar panel main plate features 4 separate panels, however the opportunity_solarmain frame is too small for these, and only features 3 places for the panels. & the Solar Back doesn't have the half filled in section.

Great work though, I can't wait to finish the model. Cheers.

I have created a remixed version with resized solar frames, rear brace, and an alternative wheel set.

Thanks for putting up a great model rover!

Nice model and design. I printed this on a Replicator 2 using ReplicatorG. It printed fine for me except for the wheels I had to scale them up by .1 so the inner hub would actually be attached to the outer wheel, also the Opportunity__bogieright.stl would not print properly but I did a mirror copy of the left and it was OK.

Compliments for the design,
but this will not print on my machine, due to the overhangs......

Can't wait to see someone printing this :-)

You have to lay it flat on the platform with the cilider facing up. Most of the extending arm should be on the platform. I printed this without support nor raft.
