1) Yes, I have used the previous wire (used for hexagon extruder), directly connect to the power supply.
2) Yes, I use the same power line (12 Volts), but you need to use a resistor for powering the LED


Nice design! I need it, since when the extruder were updated I have issue on cooling...
A couple of questions:

  1. Where you connect the 12 Volts? directly to the Power Supply on bottom of the printer?
  2. Leds and Fan are connected to the same wires (12 Volts)?


Ok, I have uploaded a version with 3.0 mm hole.


I have printed the previous version, but I broke it because the U shape for the mounting is so tight. How do you mount this duct?


I have re-designed to fix the problem, The new version use a new lock system.

Now I upload the new version, I hope it is a welcome Christmas gift.


Thanks for the fix. Ohh, and also noticed the screw holes for the fan are little to big for 3mm screws, it came loose.
