Print a tree topper that could never be injection molded! Print two of these and then put them together with the pegs provided and glue.
I recommend using a translucent filament and putting tree lights inside for the best effect.
Makerbot does a decent job of building supports for this, even though they are a bit difficult to remove. I ended up having to print it on an MB2, because the "smart" extruder (no comment), actually 2 of them can't extrude anything for more than 10 minutes without jamming. This results in a tree topper that still looks too small on my tiny tree. I'll post a file optimized for a Type A as soon as I test the print.
