I did the infill at 100% so that the walls are stonger.

Make shure you put something on the build platform so it sticks good (hear spray, glue of tape)

How I Designed This

How I designed it and what other designs I used

I designed this using Tinkercad, with was my go-to design for the time. The car I tried to make myself but I found a way better car made by webuildsmiles on Tinkercad.
Also I found a great Tv and TV-table made by Ella on Thinkercad, I did alter that design a bit.

just wondering how can this print without support, I scaled it up 200 percent and using cura looks like it needs support on the house and trees. the house when it starts the second level. but I have not tried to print it yet

Love it! Thanks mucho....

Thanks. Is thst how you produced the colored rendering?

Thats right. And the painted one was done by a maker from Russia

What software are you using to create this?
Thanks, G

It was in the beginning of my design days. I used tinkercad. Now I use fustion 360.

I love it! Just one more footprint and it would be perfect?
Thanks, Grover

It has been updated! I put it in the files and in this comment!

I printed this one but had a few problems with the 2 trees at the front falling off. Not sure what went wrong there. I might need to add support or print it a big bigger. I hadn't scaled it at all from this version.
Also a bit of stringing trying to bridge the floor of the block in the attic. Any reason the attic is solid?
The overhangs on the roof didn't seem to print quite right either. I probably need to add supports to get those otherwise they seem to start off in thin air.
Great model. I printed it in clear green - looks good with a light behind it.

Its designed in an outdated modeling program so thats why its not perfect with the overhangs and stuf. This was probably about the 5th thing I ever designed. If you print it bigger the trees should hold on. Sorry about the attic I Grouped it wrong when I was redesigning the door. So I will try and fix that for you. Be sure to upload your "I made One" ones you printed it out.

No worries. It's the first thing my 7 year old daughter has picked out to be printed and she loves it. I'll sort some photos later.

How lovely! Whats her name? I can put it on the bottom of the design so she knows it's her house ;)
If you just want the regular one, I just updated the design and fixed the attic. So you can just print that one or put her name on the bottom :)

That would be lovely please. Her name is Izzy. cheers!
Thanks for fixing as well.

If your file is changeable, I'll try to do it?
I look forward to the result.
Thanks, Grover

I just changed it, Uploading it now, wait 15 minutes and you will see it in the files section.

Oh, also, it should open in, not out....Is your file changeable?
Thanks, Grover

I did it this way because I thought it looked better. I was very young when designing it though and now I see the flaw. Thanks for your donation, it's not an easy thing to change in the file but I will try and do it this week. I will send a message when the change is made.

Hi. Your design is very cool. Just one suggestion: The door should open the other way. Both from an engineering standpoint as well as aesthetically.
Thanks, Grover

I just uploaded it, its called christmas_house_door_facing_inwards.stl and I put it in this comment as well. Thanks for your donation, be sure to upload your "I made one".

What scale did you build this in?

I didn’t use a scale. I did it by what looked right. Sorry

Fabulous design! It even not requires support. Excellent print I received. Now my wife is struggling to paint it.

thanks! please send me a picture of the result!

Put the results in the 'Made' section

Sweet! Your model has been selected as one of the Top 3D Printed Christmas / Holiday Models this year. Search "Top Free 3D Printed Christmas Gift 2015 Printing Ninja" to see. (sorry thingiverse bans url addresses)

Thank you, I will upload an brother house next week.

Hi! Nice model!!

Did you use supports?

Thank you, I made this as one of my first prints. I didn't even know about support back then. I don't know if you should. With me it came out good without.

Wich printer did you use ?

Ultimaker Original, you can also view the printer someone is using by looking at his account.

Ok thx didn't know that

That why I told you :)
