This is my Z-Probe Holder for my Prusa i3 Rework with the standart emotionTec extruder.
It uses a inductive/capazitive Sensor with 17-18mm outer diameter. I would recommend printing this with 100% infill, because you want it to be very robust.
I also included the Solid Works file, in case anybody wants to edit it.
I hope you enjoy the conveniance of auto bed leveling or tramming or whatever you wanna call it! :-)
You need a well adjusted Prusa i3. Make sure, that it can print without the auto bed leveling and tune it, until you are satisfied with the results.
Then print out the Probe Holder. Install the Probe and connect it to the Electronics. (I won't cover the installation of the electronics, because there are many different probe types... (NPN, PNP; NO, NC))
Make sure that the probe is working by typing M119 in the machine control panel. If the probe is triggered you should get a reading like: Zmin = TRIGGERED.
Under files you also find the full firmware folder. My endstops for x is right and for y it is in the front. Don't simply use my configuration, you need to edit some settings, for example for your hotend.
Then you need to adjust the auto bed leveling settings. The offsets are:
"#define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 38"
"#define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -25"
Note that the algebraic sign of the offsets can vary depending on your endstop configuration. The Z offset you will need to find out yourself, I found mine by Trial and Error... :-)
