i think ada fruit has them for 4 bux :-/

Is anyone else have trouble opening the files with Sketchup? Or am I just an idiot and haven't realised that these files need a different program to open them?
I was just wondering because I would forgo the extra battery space for them just be in parallel?

this is great since they don't make the slim Altoids case anymore. Thanks!

ingress... Ingress... INGRESS!

eh? a digikey plastic part to fit in a printed part?
Why not design the battery holder into the printed part instead?
Although it would be nice to find a source for good contact material for this purpose.

That's what I thought too: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:51243http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... (shameless plug)

Rolling MintyBoost Enclosure V2

While I agree in some respects (Kenton86 I have printed several of your enclosures) it is sometimes nice just to plug and play an item rather than having to deal with the contacts and running the wires etc. I am sure, however, that tweaking this design to handle a battery case free version would be relatively easy.

Very true. that's part of the reason why I left version 1 of my enclosure up on Thingiverse instead of overwriting it with version 2. If 3D printing has taught me anything, it's that there's more than one way to skin a cat :)
