THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1478821
I recently purchased a ASG Steyer AUG, but don't like the style of magazine the rifle use. So I googled for a adapter for NATOMAGS or Ar15 mags, but all I could find was someone that have cut his old augmag, and made it into a adapter.
I thought allot of AUG users might like such an adapter, so I modeled my own AUGMAG in Inventor, and made it a two part thing, for easier for print.
Maybe someday I would add more options, like Nato to AK, AK to AUG.
The lost if BB's will of course rise a bit, since the BB's need to be pushed through the adapter
As my previous models, I don't have a 3D printer yet, so the models might be hard to print, or have some scale difficulties, but I have done the best I can with what I have. :-)
If you got ideas or stuff I should change please PM me, or leave a comment on the model. And if you are going to print this thing, please send me some pictures! I would really love to see them :-)
You'll need to purchase some things to finish this build.
The holes for screwing the two parts together are 3.5mm in diameter, this would make a short 4mm screw a good a good choice, feel free to drill the hole bigger or deeper if you have some screws lying around
For mounting the mag_release you would need a 5mm nut and bolt. And for the spring, its kind of finding a pen with a good spring, or finding something lying around. If enough people ask, I could make it rubberband driven like my Iron Sights.
