This bracket allows a $6 webcam to be very inobtrusively mounted on a MakerGear M2 to provide a (low resolution) live video feed of the part being printed.

There are two versions here. The original (black, part.stl) version had to be stuck in place with tape or glue; the new (May 2015, white, cambracket.stl) version clips onto the frame by itself.

We did this four years ago. Back then, about half the sub-$5 webcams on eBay were variations on this... and we still have a few in my lab, but I don't know anyplace selling them. It is pretty easy to make a similar mount for the ones that are now common. Actually, we're currently using an 802.11 wifi network camera because USB is kept pretty busy with two 3D printers connected to one computer....
