whats the best orientation to print this in?

I printed it laying on the right side (Y= -90°, Z=45°) without support.

Do you have a left extruder one yet?

Normally your Slicer software should be able to morror the STL-Model. If not, I just uploaded the left side.

Love the design! I just used my left extruder fan since I've remove the motor and nozzle on that side. I swapped the fan leads over tot eh empty EXTRA plug to use the active cooling control feature of Simplify3D. Now the only issue I'm having is the volume of the area the fan mounts to is too small and constricts enough airflow that I'm getting lots of negative pressure causing a lot of air to shoot back out the opposite side of the fan instead of it all going to the area being printed.

Could you possibly make a larger area in volume for where the fan mounts?

To fix this i just cut the end of quite far back near the curve and it now shoots loads of air on the part

I also observed that problem. I struggle a little bit to make a better design. But I'm already on that.

Awesome, would you mind sharing the CAD file and I could maybe look into customizing it? I can use either Fusion 360 or Inventor 2014. I had this in mind. I just added some lines to the image you provide here of it mounted. http://i.imgur.com/pZsA8wd.png This would allow more air to be put into the chamber instead of it just hitting a wall like it does now and get forced right back out.

How / where are those power wires connected?

Since the printer uses 24V fans and I only have 12V ones, I used a separate power supply for the fans which I fixed on the cabling to the extruders.
