This is a very nice Toy, I have seen it made out of wood for some hundred Euro. You can turn the internal balls but you cant remove them.

19.3.13 I got feedback about my script and will update it

2015 | printed the Ball in Ball in Ball with my Mendel 90 with support sliced with Slic3r and it is working fine. 50% size

I guess you can print this with professional services where you do not need support and it would be really cool,

But unfortunately I don't see how to print this with a hobby 3d printer. Balls would get attached to each other.

This would make a very nice lighting chandelier suspended from the ceiling, using cool white LEDs or any other colour.
