I plan to use a Printrbot direct drive extruder (Aluminum or their new printed/geared version) on a Mini Kossel. This is a dummy part to allow fitment of a push-tube adapter in place of a Ubis hot end.
The OpenSCAD file is included, should you need to customize something.
The picture shows installation on a Printrbot geared direct drive extruder.
Printed in ABS, 50% fill. PLA would probably work fine, as this part shouldn't get too hot.
The part is sized for an M5x0.8 thread push tube adapter. You will need an appropriate tap for the part, and may need to adjust that diameter in the OpenSCAD file to generate an STL to your liking.
