You dont have the files for the carriage that runs on the profiles? :)

i agree.... wheres the files????? id like to give this a shot........

Hey Raf, any news? ;)

Could I ask what you're using for your black wheels? Do they run along standard T-slot or is it a openbeam/makerbeam specific wheel?

I made them on my mini lathe from 20mm dia. derlin rod, design is based on openrail v wheels. I have used them on standard 2020 6mm t slot extrusion, if you planning to use similar design then I would advise v slot extrusion for this.

Thanks for the quick reply :) I've got a few different variations of T/V-Slot to try out so will have a play. I'm basically trying to come up with a nice BOM for a delta based reprap that has easy to source, cheap parts as right now so many of them have obscure or expensive components. Ideally I'm trying to get this working with standard Rexroth style 20mm extrusion. They are cheap and whilst they aren't V-Slot, they're not quite T-Slot either.

that's exactly what I have been planning for my delta printer http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:154832http://www.thingiverse.com/thi.... I have used smooth rods on it but the main idea was to use v wheels instead of LM8uu bearings as they are much more quiet. Delta pi carriage http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:210028http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... design would be one of the options as well. Let me know what you will came up with, I'm happy to test it :)

Icould you upload a file type that I can edit for 8020 1010 series? Anything like a stp or solidworks or sketch up helps. Thanks

Raf, great work on this design, looks great -- could you upload the STL for the carriages

Hey Carlos, I'm planing to share STL's soon on github. I had to postpone this project for few weeks but I'm just about the get my hands back on it. here is what I'm trying to build (first test I made few a weeks ago) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGoHHD3pr7ohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v....

Yeah, saw your test video -- really love the simplicity and cleanliness of how you approached the carriages. These will work great on the printer am building -- thanks a bunch, and keep up the great work! \cl
