Printed and working with QU-BD heating pad. I had to do a lot of modification with the x-acto blade around the wire to get it to lay somewhat flat... it was a lot deeper and wider than the print allowed for.

This is 6x6 for the SD2. Just FYI

Am I the only one receiving error pages when trying to download the files?
Tried two different browsers, both recently updated.

Lawsy, Measuring the parts, I get 155 mm or so. I assume you had the 150mm x 150mm bed? Did the heat cause you problems when mounting this to printed plastic? It seems like it would start to melt the plastic. Did you insulate the bottom at all?

I insulated the bottom with kapton tape. The plastic definately discolours and burns but still holds the shape ok.

I printed this out at a slightly larger scale but wasn't happy with how it turned out. I cut a piece of 0.2" plexiglass and notched out for the bulge. Much smoother and more even. So bottom is the aluminum bed that came with the printer, then plexiglass, silicone heater, ceramic plate.

I'll be butting the back of my QU-BD bed against .5" plexi, do you have problems with warping when heating?
