the back can be used for a sheath slider, my thanks yzorg.

Like the design I had to do something about the back though it seemed like it would waste a lot of material. I just matched it to the front I will try to print it that way later too.

Hi there! Love the shoulder pieces, where did you make/find the files for them? Im new to all the 3D printing and so far ive only found Tinkercad to be useful/beginner friendly but I find it somewhat lacking as far as being able to smooth pieces out like the curvatures on these pieces (or maybe im just not doing it right lol) but any other easy to use creators or 3D software would be immensely appreciated! Happy printing!

no problem. google after a real 3D modeling software ;)
these were modeled in cinema4d (keep in mind this is not a parametric software).
furthermore you first have to deconstruct your idea in mind to prepare for all modeling challenges.

things like these shoulders can be done in nearly all 3D softwares. initially it was a symetrical disc with waverings that has been Cage distorted and given a wall strengh.
Needs a software that can model with curves/lines/splines and genererate surface from them. the main comand i used is a revolve loft operation..

Sweetness, one thing ive been toying around with in my head. Trying to figure out the best way to make some plate armor.

any thought about making a complete suit with this piece as the theme?

yep.. but i didnt had time to go on with this project yet. i guess most of it will be cloth and leather anyway. some 3Dprinted gadjets here and there.

bracers and greaves would be pretty cool to go with this. I think I agree with you where everything else would be leather/cloth.

This is my answer to the 3D Printed weapons... i just make armor and protection.

I hope i get credit for my effort :)

would love to see it combined with printed chainmail
