Summary

I liked the idea of holding the bolt in place with a simple part but I like my fillets and chamfers. So I redesigned the part to use less plastic and be a bit more finished.

Instructions

Printed in PLA with .25 layer height, .35 nozzle. Came out lovely first time.

I used a 3.5 x 40 screw into the wood to hold it down.

What size tap is that?

That's an M5 tap. I found the best way to get it to work was to push the bolt at the tap from the side with the wood clamped (or better bolted) at a pivot point on one end.

To create the groove I ran it on the corner of a stone on a bench grinder.
