You can scale it if your printer is not big enough.

How to use the snowman maker to make a snowman in 2 minutes:

1.Fill the mold with snow and compress by hand
2.Scrape away excess snow with a Swiss Army Knife or straightedge
3.Place the two molds together and compress to combine the snow
4.Beat mold to loosen the snow so the mold can be removed cleanly
5.Open up the mold and drop snowman into your hand
6.Remove out any remaining snow
7.Make more and more

Enjoy and share the results on Thingiverse!

The photo was taken in Taiwan Hehuan Mountain altitude 3158m. Very beautiful. =)

Thanks Thingiverse for featuring. Some people asked me to make a snowman out of two balls instead of 3 so I made a 2 ball snowman mold. It will save material but might be weaker. Share for everyone to see!

(Thanks iamdarkyoshi translation)

Wouldn't it be better to print it in a dark colour so you don't lose it in the snow?

These are too large for the printrbot's 6x6x6 bed
Could you make a version with the halves cut in half so that we can print and glue them together?

Great idea! Thanks for sharing

How long did it take you to print it?

thats so cool man

I can see it now:

Thanks! ;D

My kids love it so much.

Comments deleted.

How many % infill did you use?

about 15%~20% because it need hit, don't set infill too low,my mold broken after made about 50 snowmans

Thank you! I started the print yesterday with 20% infill and 1.2 mm shells, 1.2 mm top/bottom thickness. You can watch it print now at https://3drucken.ch/gueggelcam ^^

Good~Very beautiful orange color, i think i set infill lower then your, you can get a strong mold made more and more snowmans =)

Great Make

Here's a cool site you can feature your design on.

I think I was there at the same day

that is funny

Can't wait to try this out. Great idea! I wrote an article on this on my website http://www.3dphobbyist.com/tiny-snowmen-3d-print-away/

Pretty sure Calvin and Hobbes used these to create some of their snow scenes. Nice work!

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this.

Make a hole in the top and you have a snowman icecube maker

Now I'm hoping to see someone print a life sized version of this and make a snowman in one go...

Where did you get the fancy hat :D

Very creative idea! I like it!
I translated the description for you if you want to edit the existing one: http://pastebin.com/5KiKBwMq

Thank you very much~,next time if you want to translation to Chinese,i will help you =)

You are welcome! I really want to make one of these before the snow melts over here, but my 3D printer is being silly.

Great job, man. Is it hard to separate the snow from the mold?

You can see the video, not hard, but need some beat

I think two ball snowman mold will be better than three one. It provide flexibility when you dismount the snowman from the mold. Anyway, nice design for both of the molds. Too bad that Hong Kong has no snow even in winter. /_\

Nicely done, great concept.

Wonderful job. Great idea!

This is cool, and your English is MUCH better than my Chinese!

What a delightful thing to make! Congratulations on being a Thingiverse featured contributor! Well deserved! My only problem is that living in Los Angeles I would not get a lot of use from this design, :(

Don't worry, in Taiwan maybe only 3~7 day have snow at high mountain,if you want go to high latitudes place just take it :)

Your English is fine. Be proud!

Sweet design, i never would have actually thought of something like this myself!

That's pretty cool!
