I tried to make this 5cm tall with Simplify 3D. The number of supports in the mouth was so large I could not remove them without losing all the teeth. Trying to get the supports off of the head ended up snapping the neck. S3D does not do supports well at all, at least for me. The model comes out great, when I can get the supports off.
Is there a preferred orientation?

hm... you need to make some test yourself.. but, i think that the model don't let you many possibilties.

This prints really well. Watch where you add supports, S3D, had to add some support on the feet, and a few other spots. Had way too many in his mouth, but was still able to get them out. Used dense supports, 2 mm, 20% 7 dense layers at 70. Worked really well, very clean.
6 hours, 75 mm tall, 75mm/sec default speed.

120 mm ran for 15 hr. Minimax with Linear rails/ 75mm/s

i know its been a little while, but... i love the details on support, trial and error on that stuff takes FOREVER.... what about your hor. offset, and upper and lower seperation layers?

i'll try my settings and see how it goes, but i always love comparing notes.

if you will... if not, or if its been too long, totally cool, i get it.
