Too many holes. The volume of holes exceeds the volume of the blower. This nozzle is actually diffusing the air, which reduces cooling. My math says the best combo is 16 evenly spaced 3mm holes. I've been correcting everyone who makes versions of these. I've only seen one done right, but cant find it now.

It is now showing with 16 holes. Would you say it is now ok? Thanks!

It seems like the fan doesn't have enough power to push the air flow through this piece, it throws back so much air from the turbine intake

I do not need a led there but you can do it yourself as i provided the freecad file

With this thing on you can't see anything, so you can spare the effort lighting it ;-)

I think you should not attach any kind of sensor for auto bed levelling to this thing as it is not really fixed on the x-carriage. Instead add your sensor directly to the x-carriage.
BTW: The current x-carriage in Prusa's github is much more sophisticated than the version bq uses on the hephestos. Try this as a base for your modification as it fixes the linear bearings a lot better.

I do not have this in use for a long time but i have no problems printing with this.
Currently i always print with ABS and enable object cooling from the 2nd layer by switching on the fan fully. No problems until now.

Please try and post your experiences.
